Well those are easily the best two albums they made, so if you dont get the fuss now theres no way their other material would change your mind. Personally for me the thing about STP that grabs me the most is the basslines. Robert DeLeo is certainly not the best bassist in the world or anything...

Singer- PJ Harvey, great voice and great performer. It's a shame she is done with live performances as of last month. Songwriter- So many great songwriters, Besides the obvious ones like Lennon, Ian Curtis, David Bowie, Joe Strummer, Lou Reed what have you, I am gonna say Ghostface Killah...

although he was probably one of the first people to explore arabience in depth, that album still bores me senseless.
