I have been doing a lot of day hiking and have gotten the bug. So far I'm able to hike 3 or 4 miles pretty easy. I have two weeks off in August and think I'm going to try to go the distance.
Um, like where? Yosemite? A private campground on Eastern Long Island? And what are you going to do when you get there? Sit in the camper and watch DVDs? Or hike 40 miles over rough terrain? It makes a difference.

I'm not quite sure what your question is. They wanted to make a camera with unique looks so it would sell well? And btw, it's not steel, that's too heavy for cameras that small, it's aluminum.
