    Biggest sell-outs?

Well, being from the older crowd, I'd say probably the biggest 'sellouts' from my youth are probably Aerosmith and Elton John. In the 70's and early 80s, these two consistently put out great music. In Aerosmith's case, they were edgy, had crunchy licks and rauchy lyrics. They pretty much snubbed...

    Your Deepest Musical Secret

What is the deepest secret of yours in relation to music? I'll start... I bought Fall Out Boy's 'From Under the Cork Tree' cause this girl I had a crush on loved it.

    Hallelujah

well I think Jeff Buckley's live performance on "Live at Sin-e" is the best version. but as mentioned before in this threat, it is a shame that it's his most well known song, cause he honestly has better songs, which he also wrote, and it's also a shame that the songwriter Leonard Cohen doesn't...

Is music dead as of 2008?

Its not that new music sucks, it just that the cutthroat nature of the music industry corabined with the accessability of the media through the internet has insured that for every one original band that busts their ass just to make it to where they are, there are 1,000 wannabes that get signed...

Band Polls: Round 5: Final Poll

Well my criteria are: Technicality (no clue if that is a word.) Originality Non-recycling (doesn't recycle their sound through albums.) Influence on other banRAB and one other thing I can't think of atm.

    FUNimation and Nickelodeon Shenanigans (Speculation)

"One Piece" didn't run on KiRAB WB, it ran on FoxBox. And despite the bad adaptation "One Piece" still got good ratings on Toonami, and none of that hackdubbing matters anymore because FUNimation has the series now. "Naruto" also got cancelled on Cartoon Network not too long after "One Piece".

    Elliott Smith "Either/Or"

Then you are no Elliot Smith fan. You should just give up on yourself. Nah, I'm joking. XO is good, but I prefer Either/Or just because it is so incredibly raw yet breathtakingly emotional. It is exactly what music should be, and though XO was an amazing album as well, Either/Or hits me on a...

Classic albums any true music fan should own or at least listen to

Absolutely not! You don't have to listen to it, of course. Every Pearl Jam show I've ever gone to, througout the years, has sold out. Stadiums. Still. Packed houses. Nothing senseless about bringing that album up again.
