For once, I must agree with you. Ouran will never be on TV, yet the first volume was one of Funimation's highest sellers of 2008. The second volume will no doubt be on their 2009 charts. Anime doesn't need TV to be successful.

The transformation sequences in the second episode are downright creepy due to the underaged participants. Not kosher. The first episode was fine. The second...erm, I was a bit creeped out. (I mentioned the show randomly admittedly. It was an attempt to get dialog besides the nature of opinion.)
