I think battery is a big reason why the performance is being held back....as good perforrmance will obviously drain batteries very fast. I read that a University is working on a wireless charging system......if they manage to do that, i think ALOT of tech problems would be resolved.

I would think the iphone would be better overall for messaging and typing emails, but i have gotten pretty good at predictive text, once you are familiar with letting the device form the word for u, you are good to go, also if u hit the pund key it changes the word also.
