    What is the piece, on the front of the underside hood of a car, that clicks down

    into the latch? I'm looking for that "U-bar" shaped piece and can't find it anywhere. I think I'm calling it the wrong name. I've heard people call it a striker, a U-bar, a bar, but when I search online or call junk yards for it, they have no idea what I'm talking about. Can anyone help me out...
