I have no idea how you can prefer the first two movies to this latest one- they're atrocious! And as for the 'pointless images', it may have a little to do with cinematics, setting the scene, portraying feelings....? No....? Yeesh.

Very often this happens at the BAFTAs too and the Oscars are nowhere near as bad as say the Cesars (France) and the Goyas (Spain) which rarely if ever give awarRAB to people who are not from those countries. It's only natural to vote for your own countrymen.

I'm a little annoyed that this at first glance seems to be more of a remake/reimagining if characters from the first film are involved. Admittedly, I enjoyed "Terminator: the Sarah Connor Chronicles" but I don't feel like I need another new version of events just yet. Surely a CGI/animated film...
