The Most popular pop culture parodies

I would be suprised if a cartoon started to refrence "Comedy of Errors" out of no where.:p Shakespeare plays need to be parodied more often, and outside of the whole Balcony scene, and the "Alas poor Yorrik" line, the rights are owned by people of the public, so I don't see why it hurts. Maybe...

    Fritz the Cat

I'm a Robert Crumb fan. This movie changed the face on animation forever. Its twisted and sick humor brought about a new kind of animation into the world. Since then we've had such great animators and artists like Bill Plympton, Craig McCraken (sp?), Mike Judge, Don Hertzfeldt, Terry Gilliem...

Ren & Stimpy -- one of the greatest of all time?

If we're talking the show's track record, then no. I'm a big R&S fan, but even I'd admit that only about half the episodes are quality. Despite being more conservative in its animation, I would argue Rocko actually had a better track record. There are very few episodes in that series I would...

    Second season improvments

I agree on on Avatar and Ed, Edd, n Eddy for many of the same reasons. And to that I'll add SpongeBob. While the the first season was lots of fun, I feel like the show really came into it's own by the second season. I always thought this season had the wackiest gags, clever innuendo, and most...

    Digitizer Fix For T3!!!

Ist thanks to BILL GAMBLE on rabroad Forum. I have two T3's that were in the trash heap due to digitizer problems that couldn't be fixed. Now both are working almost like new. If your problem is a hardware problem, and it probably is, then you can repair it yourself. I am a total mechanical...

    Obscure Cartoons From Years Past

Possibly the most depressing cartoon of the `90s. You'd think a collaboration between Steven Spielberg, Tim Burton, and Brad Bird would be, you know, better! Although the episode from Amazing Stories was very good.

    That's it...I'm ready for movies!!

Here's an example - this is a screen shot of the DareDevil Trailer disclaimer that appears at the end of the clip. It's not entirely clear, but the text is blurry in the middle, and clear at beginning and end. It's as if Kinoma will revert back and forth from 160x160 - very annoying...

    Living Dangerously

Living Dangerously A couple was having dinner at home when the wife said, "You know, Fred, when we were first married, you used to take the smaller piece of steak and give me the larger. Now, you take the larger one and leave me the smaller. "You don't love me any more." "Nonsense," replied...

    The 4Kids Hate Discussion Thread

Even minus their anime atrocities ;) , they're still worthy of some hate. They're pretty much the only company on non-cable Sat AM landscape these days aside from whatever superhero cartoon trickles down the CW tube every now and again. Judging by the quality of their programs, anime or not...

FOX Talkback - Family Guy - "Believe It Or Not, Joe's Walking On Air" (Spoilers)

You know, I can't count the number of season 4-6 episodes that have started with "We now return to..." Ha ha, self-conscious cutaway. Colin Farrell cutaway = waste of time. I didn't really even get what they were making fun of, and I think I know enough about modern Hollywood as I should be...
