I voted no, they just don't have the kind of catalouge worthy of the Hall of Fame. Plus their lack of success in the US, normally results in most Americans knowing them as another 90's alternative band. They just don't stand out. An arabitious no from me.

yes but she creates a unique sound through sampling, it's more original....I listen to plenty of artists that sample but Rihanna just takes songs I like and are easily recognizable. She sampled Orgy for one of her songs. She also sampled MJ for that one dance song of her that's kinda popular...
