Indeed. The world survived Sean Connery voicing a talking CGI dragon in Dragonheart, it'll survive this. The movie itself will probably come and go so quickly that few will remember it anyway. This is hardly a blot on Connery's career.

No, "Doogal" only did that so it could add more very unfunny jokes to the movie, what he's describing is just characters reading english labels just to make sure kids in that country "understand".

I think that it all depends on how its handled as well. Chase scenes in cartoons like with the Road Runner can be funny, but if it isn't handled in the right way, it would feel more like something to kill time in the show instead of something funny.
