True. But overall, action sells more material items than comedy. Look at the recent Cartoon Network originals, for example. Shows like Ben 10 and Transformers: Animated get huge toy lines and multiple video games. Shows like Chowder and Flapjack get nothing except maybe a few DVD releases...

I like the Family Guy version of Shipoopi a lot better than the original. Sometimes you just like the parody much better than the thing being parodied. Like the Dog Whisperer. I'd much rather watch that Dog Whisperer episode on South Park than the show itself. I always make bad debate cases...
