Saw it yesterday and thought it was terrible. Whole thing was a generic action movie with little plot (where it did exist it made no sense), dialogue was poor and the action scenes were nothing new or special. Very disappointed.

Yes, I'd heard of it. However, I find the whole way it is used incredibly disturbing.

Some films I can watch over and over, others not, why is this, even if its wonderful movie, I just cant sit through some more than once..have lots of DVRAB Ive only watched the once.

Why? Because: 1) It will cost too much to enforce, 2) It will make flag burning increase, not decrease, 3) It will stuff our prisons with even more innocent people, 4) It will be a violation of freedom of expression and personal property rights A flag burning amendment is neither pragmatic...

Have always been more of a trek fan, but have to give credit to the original 3 Star Wars films. For their time they are still three of the most outstanding sci-fi films of the era. Shame they had to go spoil it with the Phantom Mincer, etc.

quite unbelievable that films like this aren't even given a vanilla release ..... far too long overdue IMO should have KEEPed the bbc2 recording of it sorry :D

If anyone's interested (I know I am) there are some images from The Golden Compass to be seen here and here ! I must say I'm impressed. Nicole Kidman and Dakota Blue RicharRAB just ARE Mrs Coulter and Lyra in that shot of them together. Lyra with the Gyptians also looks just as I pictured it...

ok i just seen the trailer (bad bootleg version). looks flecking awesome - altho there are some elements tht i dont like the look of. its also quite long - they have alot of spoilers within it of which im quite shocked about. i wont give any details about it so tht i dont ruin the surprise, but...

I got a Panasonic multi region one with a bunch of discs (you dont get a choice in them but still...), its near silent and works with my logitech harmony, so that was the best option for me. "Australia" was quite good in bluray (was one for the free ones :)) "Ice Age 3" however didn't benefit...

I don't get it, have people totally forgotten how to have a good time at the movies these days? It's not the best movie in the world but it's a hell of a lot of fun. I personally enjoyed it. For those who think it's terrible, you don't know what terrible is. Try watching a Uwe Boll movie ;) ...
