Toon Zone Talkback - FUNimation Acquires "Linebarrels of Iron" and "Strike Witches"

I don't care for either of these series. I don't like the loli thing and linebarrels didn't seem interesting either. the ANN forum on the other hand is having a field day with this (even I had something to do with that though)

"Mobile Suit Gundam 00" on Sci Fi's Ani-Monday Series Talkback (Spoilers)

On the DirecTV guide, it's listed as "Mobile Suit Gundam 00". And, Sci-Fi's "NOW/NEXT" crawl just calls it Gundam. No, dude, you are going to pay the price.

    Evolution versus Creationism

It's my first day and I'm already wishing forums had an ignore button. This really is my first day, and I am frankly flabbergasted. Is this (Archie-types) an ongoing problem here, or an isolated individual? I feel like I'm arguing with my 6 year old niece. I'm asking everyone out there who...

    Colin Firth...

Yeah he is an excellent actor.....and it's a pity that he's been doing mostly duff rom com stuff of late...I saw him in a play a few years ago with David Morrissey both were fantastic. He's brilliant in "A Month in the Country"...which is a lovely film..quite slow but really touching/evocative.

    believable CG effects

Jurassic Park, and even some of it was dodgy.... CGI is always overused in a movie, I would much prefer real props used rather than prople acting to something that isn't there and is superimposed on the film later on. The Thing being a great example, beautifully disgusting special effects...

Bond 22-what would you like to see.(Some Spoilers)

Really? Because they couldn't refer to SPECTRE in the GoldenEye: Rogue Agent and that was in 2004. The organisation was known as OCTOPUSS or something (Blofeld and all members have an Octopuss ring in the films).

Hostel - Five USA - Saturday May 2nd

I think the best way to watch Eli Roth's films is with his audio commentary. He's a better talker than director.
