The iPhone isn't going to be unlocked anytime soon, and might not ever be unlocked if Apple has it's way. Also, the camera isn't good enough to do the job. No 3rd party apps, and no video recording capability.

The problem is that Cingular has a developer's signature that they offer for java programs. If your program is "Cingular Approved" then it's allowed to auto-connect. Google Maps, Opera Mini, etc. are not bothering with this.
It's not all s60v3 phones, only the E62 because it's Cingular...
