    Music Banter And It

Theres too kinRAB of pop.. The kind thats good and requires some talent, like The Beatles, The Who, The Kinks, David Bowie, The Smiths, Brian Ferry, Todd Rundgren, Elton John, Michael Jackson, Peter Gabriel, etc... and of course the kind of repetitive, talent-free crap that everyone eats up...

    Favorite music DVD?

Tom Petty is fucking great. Some of the more creative music videos too. I like my Black Flag dvd best. They're live in Bradford '84. Not particularly good sound quality, and not the greatest picture. But the Flag absolutely destroy at this gig.

    have you you ever...

Well, Blunt does have a talent for writing the kind of really lame "stalker" love ballaRAB that radio stations love.... Being so successful in a short matter of time for making such crappy music must require a talent of some kind. Kinda like how Jessica and Ashlee Simpson have become so rich...

    Opposition Party

Bands like "Explosions in the sky"

Explosions in The Sky is far from a jam band. Their songs are structured like symphonic rock movements, not loosely arranged free-for-all jams. Pelican's newest effort is pretty close to EITS. A little heavier, and a little looser, but close.

So I am listening to Muse "Origin of Simmetry"

I listen to both on occasion and think they are similar. I think it is said that Muse mentions Radiohead as their influence or something. I like Muse better but that's only because I've spent more time listening to them.

Does God still speak to mankind?

So God can make a hamburger too hot for it to eat? I don't want to get back into that, but seriously, think for once. jazyjason: If you're going to be making threats, make threats that actually have backing. Empty threats move only the truly idiotic.

    democracy for all?

Note I did not say "the sanctions that are passed". I said "our proposed sanctions". It is not merely a question of oil being bought and sold in Euros. In order for the dollar to REALLY suffer, oil must be PRICED in Euros. Thsu far, the VERY limited trading that goes on in Euros in the...
