re. vpn speed, yes, I thought 20Meg on a 50 Meg line was rubbish, but I'm using Strongvpn who I believe are quite a large company, and they spent about half an hour moving me around different US servers (I'm in UK), but 20Meg was the quickest I could get. Perhaps I should try an EU company...
