it was quite good better then hide and seek and boogyman i enjoyed it im a bit horror movie fan it no allows me to say after see in that horror films are gettin better but there was a bit of repetativeness in it
I remember seeing the reviews when it first came out and thinking it was a must watch film. Actually saw it for the first time last year. It is a dreadful film IMHO.
I think that because I knew about the Gein connection and the fact that he does have some emotions, that makes it scary for me!
And the fact that there was a whole scary family of them.
Criterion Edition dvRAB are fantastic, bought myself a few more for Christmas, collection is building. Great dvRAB.
Will have a look at the Ingmar Bergman films though, big fan of his work and the dvRAB are nearly always
Must read this book. I remember when the film came out, comments that it did not do the book justice, though I watched it anyway. Suppose a bit like Jilly coopers 'Riders' when made for the screen, the book so much more gripping.
Whoever they choose as the joker, they will not be better than jack nicholson. Though it would be cool if christian slater or Johnny depp did the role. Johnny depp is just so cool in Sleepy Hollow, and pirates of the Carribean, well enough said, that was his best performance ever for me as Jack...
I liked the 3rd and 4th.
I didn't like 5th because it was a bit too confusing even though i've read the books and maybe that made it worse because they jumped the order around.
I'm not sure what people expected tbh. It's the most depressing book of the series, there wasn't much in the way of excitment that they could get out of it. No one was going to be happy because edward hardly plays a part. As long as it sticks to the book in this one i'm happy.
If you mean it's fairly self-contained, then yes. That misses out a lot:
The Merovingian and his wife, who are among my favourite characters.
The KeyMaker subplot.
That the Oracle is a program.
Neo as The One.
The rise of Agent Smith.
And much dialogue about prediction and cause and effect...
