By the way, the file shown up at the top I downloaded complete; 70% of it came from Astraweb and the remaining 30% was filled in by a cheap block account provider. That's a strategy that some find too complicated and they prefer to jump from Astraweb to a more reliable provider.

yup, 5-6x the pixels of dvd. now if your tv is shiite then its not the blurays fault of course. and if you sit ridiculously far from a tiny tv that doesn't get anywhere near filling your visual field, nothing is going to look impressive by default. check out avsforum and their bluray picture...
