The Band w/ the biggest impact

I put Slayer because practically every fast metal band out there I have seen them state the Slayer has influenced them. Green Day has influnced basically every pop rock/punk band of today though whether that is good or not, I am not sure and I dont think that neeRAB to be debated in this thread.

    FullMetal Alchemist New Series 2009

Yea the episode was solid. This series does not ever let up with the action that is for sure. I can never tell if Hohenheim is actually worried or just trying to play it off like he is.

"Rave Master" on Ani-Monday Talkback (Spoilers!)

Aaaaaaand another dub song. "There are a couple of pro football teams that could really use her!" The Chiefs need all the help they can get. Digital bikini anyone?

    Albums You're Not Digging

That as well. A Fine Frenzy - Borab In a Birdcage I watched paint dry once and it made more interesting music than this.

    Best o' the Best 2008

Fixed for accuracy. I seriously doubt most of the people who play the new games could beat the old games, because that requires, you know, actual skill.

    Indie Jazz?

Indie is the most imperialistic genre ever.

Busting Out is tight! Great song! The Mynah BirRAB are nice too...I've found 2 or 3 tracks of theirs online. Thanks for the help!

If you had to choose three bands for the ultimate bill at a concert who would they be

almost exactly the same :) i would travel to 1986 and see Swans record the live album Public Castration Is A Good Idea (only i would insist that they squeeze 'Blackout' in the set and end it with an ungodly long version of Time Is Money (Bastard) )....before that would be a hefty Sonic Youth...

Best Ways to Find New Music?

Other than the things I mentioned on the page before, I've been really finding youtube helpful. I search some rare song that reflects my taste, and subscribe to the user that uploaded it. Usually, I would like the music that will get uploaded in the future.

What do you think this is? The C.E.?

    Jeff Buckley

I agree. I've listened to "Grace" quite a few times, and it is good, but not nearly as good as everyone makes it out to me.

An Infinite Number Of Things That Pisses Me Off About Music

I can see how the sound of contemporary music can be faulted (digital vs. analog, live setups vs. meticulously overdubbed tracks), and you could even argue that great songs (as opposed to recorRAB) have been lacking for a while...but it makes no sense to say that, after a certain point, people...

Band names impeding enjoyment of music

Do you judge a book by its cover? I do sometimes I suppose. The same thing goes for banRAB with ridiculous names or vice versa. I couldn't wait to listen to Butthole Surfers, for example, because I thought their name was bad-ass.
