Most are only on when you press the button and when you release the button it's off.
The more high end universal remotes might be different.

In fact I just went one better and reflashed the 6280 again
I decided to get rid of the O2 firmware, so i reflashed it to 6288 generic v5.92 firmware
Not sure what the difference is but it works nicely
