Can anyone identify this film from my vague and garbled recollections?

Oh, I'm so glad I'm not the only one! :) Good luck...I hope you fare better than I did trying to find it online. A big clue is the bit someone mentioned re the orange or peach, which was mentioned in one of the erotic phone conversations. And that modern art structure, which I can clearly...

    Trailers that lie....

I've just watched "Slum Dog Millionaire" and it wasn't at all what I was led to expect. I thought it would be a "Feel-good" movie and enjoyable; but it was full of sadism and most disturbing violence. No-one mentioned anything like that in it in the trailers. :(

    Triangle..... What was it about?

I rented this and watched it last night. I didn't go it expecting too much (although I had heard that it was different to your typical slasher flick, that's what made me want to see it) but ended up quite impressed. Definitely more interesting/thought-provoking then your standard horror fare...

40 things that only happern in movies :)

Although you were joking - 555 is a special non-geographic area code used by TV and film companies in the US. Anyway - back on subject - how come when couples turn the light off at night in a bedroom that it's just as light as it was when the lights were on.

    Cannibal Ferox and Cannibal Holocaust

The dark haired girl's face right at the end of Ferox was actually more scary than the gruesome scenes of the film (in my opinion anyway) the ending, where she is in that hall collecting a reward or something. really eery look on her face

    How To Increase Utorrent Speed

A 5Mbit line has a theoretical maximum download speed of 640kB/s, but with all the overselling and throttling ISPs engage on nowadays, you can consider lucky if you reach 80% of that.

Is pedophilia a disorder? (my case)

Hi. I have been sexually abused by no fewer than 9 different people so I understand the subject more than most. And I appreciate your differentiation of pedophilia as opposed to pederasty. And I will try to answer you based on the investigation of my own family. Pedophilia and pederasty is...

    Movies you rate 10/10

Gone With The Wind Snow White Once Upon A Time In The West Singing In The Rain Toy Story Jaws Back to the Future Psycho Some Like It Hot Too many to list but I've tried to name those that I can't see where they could have been made better, (maybe Clark Gable in GWTW, but that's so minor)

    Christmas tv not christmassy

I agree also. I think the lead up to christmas is the most exciting part. Christmas films and specials should be put in the week leading up to xmas, with the highlights on xmas eve and xmas day. Boxing day should be more carry on/family films/classic comedy and maybe an odd christmas film here...

The FIRST film you ever saw???

Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. I remember loving the bit where he flies through the window for some reason. Think I'll have been about 6 or 7.
