As I mentioned I have't seen the original so can't compare the two. What I really liked was it wasn't the usual Mel Gibson performance or role. This was more the kind of thing Tom Hanks or Harrison Ford does. The weak part for me was Ray Winstone. I'm not a big fan of his at the best of times...
