What's wrong with using an ol' palm? u should be able to find what you need in older software. What software specifically are you looking for? if u must use an older ver. of the software have u tried contacting the vendor for an older version?

I've had my Tungsten T pda for 20+ months, and now recently it seems when i tip the pda upside down the stylus will fall out ?? I don't think it ever did that before ? Anyone know the reason it does this now ? and solutions ? thanks George

At the moment, no the G1 can not do file sharing via bluetooth. Hopefully, the cupcake update coming in a couple weeks will take care of this issue.

The latest versions of BOTH systems, ie UIQ3 and Series 60 3rd edition, are both relativley weak on apps. I wouldnt say any one is great, though S60 3rd seems to have maybe slightly more apps. But both are right now very weak in terms of software offerings compared to Windows Mobile.
