Erm...I have never watched Buffy so i can't really say, its more of a love story than action-packed vampire fights, also a lot of people say that even though it has a good story the books are badly written, but the movie is very good, just don't expect too much.

This film had one redeeming feature - it had 'Hey' by The Pixies in it. The rest was diabolical. (Leading lady had nice teeth too!)

You're right I though the hall looked a lot smaller. The womping willow was also a lot smaller and in a different place. They did change a lot of the story in places, such as the whole thing with Harry's firebolt, he got it at christmas and had it taken away as they thought it may be booby...

I'm only a moderate X-files fan, but I quite enjoyed this film. I cannot understand anyone criticising Billy Connolly (especially without even seeing the film). His performance was excellent.
