What I liked about the BBC version was that it was unusual compared to every other modern version. Elizabeth is meant to be pretty but Jane is meant to be the stunning one in the family. I'd love for Nancy to have a role in the remake, even just a cameo. Heather Lagenkamp still looks great and appears to remember the franchise with genuine fondness if her imput on the first movie's DVD is anything to go by. I know I can only dream of this though. :(
