Nice to see that the documentary includes the full original ending that Friedkin could not include as the soundtrack was lost so we get to see it with very low audio. The comparisons between the different versions is another nice bonus too.

Yep, loved this film also. Not the biggest Liam Neeson fan around but this is definitely a great film and one of Liam's best alongside Darkman.

Yeah been cringing ever since I heard about the remake last year. As for the Chocolate Factory remake, it was a lot better than the original film imo, I enjoyed it a lot more. I think the Wicker Man remake is on a small island off America yes. Again, it's another pointless remake of a film...

I saw the first film on Film 4 recently, and thought I'd give the sequel a go. It is not scary whatsoever, and very very predictable, but not the worst movie I've seen - the goth girl is pretty good in it.

I've just watched Saving Private Ryan and A Bridge Too Far again. They're probably my favourite war films in that (I think) they capture the brutal and dismal reality of war. They might not intend to be anti-war, but they don't glorify war either, and I don't think anybody's going to watch them...
