Traded up from my DVD version of 28 days later to blu ray. then read the quality of the original print was so crap that even on dvd it looked better upscaled than the bluray version. So there was money well spent....doh.:mad:

Have to disagree there. Effects on the original trilogy = awesome at the time. Effects on the Special Editions = awesome. I just wish he'd go back and CGI the rest of the original trilogy - I can't stand those white boxes around the TIE fighters, the matte lines on the Rancor, the speederbike...

I don't think it should neccesarily be overlooked at the Oscors, the acting, singing were superb. I dont think it should win neccesarily, but it should be nominated for sure.
