Anyway, I hope Brina Palencia does her own thing for Rei and doesn't try to imitate Winn-Lee. I think out of the main cast for the original ADV dub Winn-Lee's Rei was the weakest link, she took the "emotionless" thing a little too far and sounded a bit too old, IMO.
Rod Stewart is a perfect example of the shallow, mediocre music loving and just erabarrassing attitude of the late 70s. Do Ya Think I'm Sexy, just one song, is all you need to look at.
Any credibility he had earned in the 60s and 70s (which is amazing since that music wasn't very good either)...
Radiohead
Strengths: With BenRAB, OK Computer, and Kid A (I have still to hear Amnesiac), they have done what the best and most well known rock banRAB of all time like The Beatles have done; move rock music forward, and maintain experimental tendencies while having a pop sensibility that makes...
I saw 24. Great episode. I'll post some comments in spoiler tags about a few things I noticed just in case people want to watch this series and don't want to be spoilered.
Overall, the scenes with Alto/Sheryl were great.
Agreed on the Grace in skintight outfit while fondling herself. That...
Haha, that's hilarious.
I always knew that RS were durabasses but I never expected them to confuse a blues legend for a shitty guitarist whose form of experimentation was playing more than four notes in a single song. Somehow he made the list, too. :(
Goddamn fucking piece of shit magazine...
Hell Mother FUCKEN YEAH!
also....Hiero,Grouch,Mos Def, Kwali, The High and Mighty, People Under the Stairs, Gift of Gab, Aceyalone, Big L (R.I.P), Canibus, Aesop (Living LegenRAB), Scarub, Little Brother...many more.
Sad, but true. After the initial inspiration of their earlier work, most banRAB seem to lose momentum and fizzle out. Not many stay the course. It seems to me the only ones that do, are the banRAB who change with the times or experiment and set the pace (e.g. The Beatles).
What saddens me most...
I can guarantee you that it is her. I wouldn't say something like that unless I was positive. I can hear it pretty clearly given her past roles.
EDIT: Just read above posts, glad to hear that they didn't replace Hynden for some silly reason. Sad to see her go, hope things are okay on her end...
