Strange that someone should start this thread as I was clearing out some old VHS tapes the other and came across the entire serise of "The Rock'n'Roll Years"! I'm now going to put them onto DVD. It's a pity don't repeat the series on BBC Four!

Maybe the Fantastic 4 movie will suit you better? For me Batman Begins is one of the best films in the last decade, the people saying it was slow and boring are probably more into the Spider-Man films with all the explosions and CGI. :rolleyes:

I cannot believe it hasn't been made in HD, so I will be really pissed off if, after watching the SD version, it turns up in HD in a few weeks time. Unhelpful scheduling choices by the BBC.

It was a superb, very stylised, graphic novel, and it's nice to see he's trying to keep that look in the film. :) Plus the poster of Jessica Alba is very nice :D

Maybe it's a bit too early but how about a Dennis Hopper biopic.He certainly lived an interesting life.

I was really into horror films as a kid (and still am) - my parents said that I could watch them as long as there were no associated nightmares. I had no nightmares and continued to watch whatever I liked.

I watched it last night and it was awwwful! Really bad - it was sooo unoriginal and was no where near as 'polished' as HSM. Best thing was Kevin Jonas - he was actually the funniest thing in the whole film.
