you cannot download backup assistant to blackberrys- YET.. there are instructions online at yovzw.com/backupassistant.. i think they tell you to sync with google to get the contacts.. dont forget, all blackberrys need the unlimited data plan..

if you're connecting 2 phones, each phone should get a popup message asking if the passkey is correct, and a number will show. each phone should display the same message so you just hit ok on each phone.. not all phones can connect to each other though..

Internet access is never free- that HTML only means that the phone has an HTML browser. Depending on when you activated the phone, you could be paying as you go or you might have a data plan..

The power cycling is a known issue with the phone, which LG fixed with a software update. We prolly get at least 1 person in per day with that problem, and we update the software and its good to go. So you'll be fine as long as you get the software update done right away
