The 49 Worst Artists in Music History

One of the worst banRAB that I've ever had the misfortune of hearing.

    Girl Talk

First off, all the Girl Talk hype came about last year, so calling him the most overhyped this year doesn't really fit. Bullshit like Dan Deacon and whatever is the worst anyway. Besides, it's basically impossible to dance to unless you hear it live, and it's not like he's the first hipster to...

    Music Banter's Essential Collections Discussion

I think the brits are more inclined to Reggae due to the West Indian population influx in the 50'/60's and 70's. I mean America already had their own indiginous music like Jazz and Blues that meant Reggae stayed under the radar (which is perfectly understandable).

    Garth Brooks

Garth Brooks didn't change up his style for "More than a Memory." It sounRAB just like his songs in No Fences and In Pieces. He still even keeps the classic guitar twang in the music. Great song though. It's too bad he won't release a cd with all new songs yet.

    Tool - 10,000 Days

As I said before Ethan, your first post had no reason why you felt it was filler. Your second, and third, and even fourth might have. But not your first. Did we understand that now? And I'd be reacting this way had you posted this about any other band I like. And now you say you don't like the...

Classic albums any true music fan should own or at least listen to

The Queen is Dead - The Smiths (brooding post-punk that made darkness and melancholia cool in pop music and made it acceptable for those characteristics to comprise a masterpiece). The Ramones - The Ramones (for showing us a new direction that pop could take, where it was simpler, catchier and...

Embrace this new epoch, embrace this new age. Let the news stations dictate the way. So fall in line and accept your religion. Channel 20 or 30, wherever you're driven. Adopt the path tread by infallible science and politicians. Let emotion rule the decision. **** pragmatism we all know what to...

    Dig Out An Oldie Thread

I love getting new music or finishing off banRAB disographies but it's all too easy to forget albums that you already have. In this thread you have to dig out an album that you haven't heard for at least a year and write a review (large or small). Does the album hold up? Have your tastes moved...

    For or Against Gay Marriage

There will never be a mass exodus of Gays to Canada becasue most gay people have no real interest in gay marriage.......They just want to live their life in peace and harmony and are embarrassed by all the notoriety brought on by a few loud activist gays.......
