You're going to have to test the phones yourself as each person defines "loud" differently...i would suggest you stear clear of thin phones like the SLVR and the U700 as the thinner phones have a tendincy to the quieter and the vibrators ALWAYS suck because of the lack of space... as for you...

You can always register at www.mail2web.com for a free exchange account and then use Mail For Exchange to get your emails. Its a push email solution. You will need to use gmail's email forwarding feature and forward all your emails to your mail2web account.

I can only attest to the 6265i, since I've never used the other phone you mention. The battery life is OK, but I don't listen to MP3s with it, so no way of helping you there. If I read correctly, here and elsewhere, Telus has blocked their 6265is from using MP3s, that do not come from them...
