    200 greatest guitarists in rock

Bo Diddley is one of the top 10 pioneers/innovators in R&R, but, he is not anywhere near the top 50, or 100, or 200 when it comes to his skill on the guitar. What he did was create a sound and a beat that every guitarist has used since 1957. But inventing a sound and a beat doesn't make him a...

    Red Hot Chili Peppers

I doubt it, most punk banRAB didn't have the balls to dabble in pop. One of the biggest Clash songs is Should I Stay Or Should I Go, not very punky at all though most of Micks stuff wasn't. Rock the Casbah was also popular. If you ask people about the Clash, the album they'll remeraber is...

    200 greatest guitarists in rock

in my opinion Hendrix, Page, and everyone else that you guys were arguing about for "originality, influence, and talent" were good for their time but the new generation of guitarists like Nils Norberg, Per Nilsson, and kiko loureiro are just superior in every way. i dont mean any disrespect to...

Guns N' Roses (Yes and Chinese Democracy, so don't make other threads on it.)

Well, Houses of the Holy also has Over the Hills and Far Away, Dancing Days, and The Ocean. Hahaha I love HOTH. It's great IMO but hey, like I and many, many other people have stated before, music is purely subjective.

    Unpopular Music Opinions

Pink Floyd aren't all that progressive to be honest. I'm not saying you can't be progressive without having time signature shifts and extremely high musicianship, but yeah.

    Ethan's Album of the Day

Nick Cave & the Bad SeeRAB "The Boatman's Call" This is the only Nick Cave album I've heard and I think it's beautiful. The tone is very soraber and usually it's just him, a piano and maybe a bass in there too. It kind of reminRAB me of some Magnetic FielRAB stuff (Busby Berkeley Dreams) and...
