    Will US attack Iran?

I've never heard of a game of hardball lasting 400+ days. Carter was a weenie. Reagan even put the fear of God into the USSR when he quipped "the bombing will begin in 5 minutes".:xgood:

    Downfall

Far too many foreign films get overlooked. Anyone seen Nightwatch - the russian one? AWESOME! I get really bored of stuff like the Oscars. Best films? My arse. Hollywood rubbing each other off more like. The closest they get to recognising film outside of hollywood is a nod to the odd...

    UP - The new Pixar

Up was much better than I was expecting from the trailers. My only criticism might be that it would be slow paced for some children, but they at least seem to enjoy the scenes with cute animals. It was very emotional. The adults are likely to cry, but most young children won't be affected by...

should hollywood remove any twin towers scenes from its old movies

Don't be moronic orignal poster. Respect is not shown by shying away from something and basically wiping it out of exsistance. You should celebrate it within these films, not try to hide it away. THAT would be disrespectful. perhaps they are rebuilt. :)

    Are remakes ever as good?

I think most films that are straight remakes will not live up to the standard of the first film, however if the 'remake' is not a remake of the film but has gone back to the source material (book, comic) or is re-interpreting the concept than it will have a chance of being alrigfht :)

Withnail & I farmhouse up for sale

Apparently Kate Moss is buying it :( http://www.guardian.co.uk/film/2009/jan/26/kate-moss-withnail-and-i-farmhouse Still, I bet she could match Withnail and Danny for drug intake, though she'd have to be careful not to piss off Danny 'If I spike you, you'll know you've been spoken to'. :D

Michael Moore's Farenheit 911 is official Cannes Selection

I just can't believe you've stooped to using the "it might be wrong but its not as wrong as him" argument. Lies are lies, whether they come from Bush, Blair or Moore. Extremism from the left provokes extremism from the right and neither tend to promote the truth. Just what is Moore doing...

Jodie Foster. Julianne Moore is too weird.

    Kate Winslet Oscar Winner 2009

I can't wait to see The Reader, but she was outstanding in Revolutionary Road and I loved her in The Titanic too. The onscreen chemistry between her and DiCaprio really works in both Revolutionary Road and The Titanic.
