Ok I got one for you. My mother had gall bladder surgery in march of this year, she came home and three days later she unexpectedly died. I saw this today and I actually quite enjoyed it! His accent's not the best but it's hardly Dick Van Dyke. He speaks so quietly you can barely pick out an accent anyway. I quite liked the film and thought it was an interesting take on the legend.

Over the past few days I've had a marathon Bottom session. Got to say it's definitely my favourite! Absolutely fantastic. As much as I love Ade (and I do love Ade ;)) Rik is just utterly amazing. Carnival, Gas, and Hole are probably my favourite episodes.

The UK disc is butchered worse than any animal in the film. The uncut 2 disc US set is the best and it also allows you to view it with animal slaughter skipped. Ferox was complete tosh and pretty much a ripoff of Holocaust. The UK disc of Ferox is equally worthless as it is cut to bits

It's just like a bad Hollywood movie where the scriptwriters have thought up the end before they have thought about how their characters are going to get there!... and then gets filmed, passed between editor, director and producer. They chop together some kind film out of all the bits they have...

I watched it the other night. I was just underwhelmed by it. It seemed so lazily done. Will Smith was fine, but nothing really happened of any excitement.

To be honest, I'm more of a fan of the books. I read the first book before seeing the film, and enjoyed the book so much more. I've watched the film a number of times to see if it would grow on me, it's not bad, but I don't think it's brilliant. Want to see New Moon to see whether it's better. :)
