I remember when I first saw this movie...in the big cinema field at Glastonbury 2000! i went on my own - and it was nice to watch such a good film! American Beauty was on before it. I rememeber i couldnt see the last 10 mintues because the sun came up, stopping the projection being seen!!!

Casino Royale - I know I'm 18 months too late....

It was a great film.I was a little worried at first, but it turned out great and seemed fresh, which is good, as there hadn't been a truely great Bond film since Goldeneye.Pierce Brosnom was always great though.

    IT, the clown film?

*has flashbacks to childhood viewing* Bloody traumatised me when i watched it as a kid. May have to watch it now as an adult. :-D Probably get just as scared. The two things that have stuck in my mind is the toilet, and the inhaler spraying bit, hehe.

    red streak up my arm

Have you been bitten by something or have a sore or injury? I can't diagnose it but it sounds like you have blood poisoning. The poison runs up the vein, you might find you have a swollen gland somewhere, maybe your armpit. If that's what it is you need to see a doctor sooner rather than later...

Serenity - Movie Of The Year?

    Are there any Movie magazines?

Do, it's wonderful and make your own mind up about Sight & Sound. It's a well written magazine, it's more on the film theory side and more towarRAB the foreign/art house scene, nothing wrong with that. Compared to magazines like Total Film, it reminRAB me of one way we were taught to view...

    Linux news reader

Hi RainmakerRaw, Sorry my bad. You are indeed correct. It currently does still use Hellanzb as a backend up to and including the most recent 0.5.4 release. The next version (0.6.x) will use Sabnzbd as the backend.

    I like Scary Movie 2

The only reason I bring it up is because I used to hate SM 2, but recently got to watch all 4 recently during a week. In terms of laugh out loud moments, the first is still the best, closely followed by the second, the last two just got the odd smirk, but nothing more. I think it's because the...

    ITS invite applications open

the app system hasn't changed a bit, given someone recommends you. this is a completely different one. anyone from anywhere can request for one, no recommendation of existing member needed. some additional info is asked of course but the basics are still the same. this isn't anything "new" btw...

    The Last Exorcism

I agree. The trailer on the tv completely misrepresents the movie. I thought the film was a cracker. Now i wonder what Paranormal Activity 2 will be like!

Sunshine - what a pile of rubbish

I agree with the yay-sayers having seen this last night. Give it 7/10 (marks off mainly for the slightly confused ending and the non-explanation of Mark Strong's character). Anyone also get the idea that the sun was somehow hypnotising people into suicide? I think many will have been...

    The Wrestler

Hmm. I don't know how much of that can be attributed to Aronofsky. He captured the isolation of the character very well in the way he directed it - but I think most of the credit should go to Rourke, and then the person who wrote the script. I felt the same about the father/daughter scenes...
