The most articulate songwriter of the 80's.
Probably to busy watching his fans killing themselves.
Most hilarious song; 'Girlfriend In A Coma' (well I think it's funny).
Morrisey actually failed an audition for the punk band, Slaughter & The Dogs!
But Kamina is the most epic and manly character at 17 years old with no influence. Simon starts out as a wuss, and it it's only because of Kamina's influence that he finally, at 21 years old, reaches the level of that man.
The Golden Globes ceremony is on tonight but the only UK channel that will show it, Living TV, will do so a week later. :(
Anybody knows anywhere on the internet one can watch it live tonight?
Yea I just see them as bridge bunnies ala the trio from the original Macross which has then been done in every other Macross which features a capital ship.
They will probably exist to make little comments about things from time to time, talk about trying to find a boyfriend and clothes and...
I can't say I think it looks hilarious and I can't say that animation looks particularly advanced [or even good], but it is nice to see a British animated film in the cinemas.
I hope it's a success if only to spur on other homegrown projects.
of love it can be said that
it's of things best left unsaid
if better so
a mere reflection of
the status quo
it can be said to be
entailed with disparity and
estrangement
for what is love but
a string of existence
coiled about the hand of uncomfort?

The main problem with CGI is making objects look like they have true weight relative to their supposed size, and then moving them within the real world convincingly...inertia!
The worst offender for false inertia would be the Walking With Dinosaurs series - ten ton dinosaurs walking as though...
I loveeeeeeeee this movie- its one of those ones which didn't have such a big coverage when it was release...but wow! what a movie...although sequal looks good, im waiting with baited breath

As suspected:
From themovieblog.com:
WB Rep "Mr. Robinov never made that statement, nor is it his policy"
TMB "So are you saying it is not now, nor will be Warner Bros. policy to stop producing films with female leaRAB?"
WB Rep "Correct. That is not our policy..."
Quite.
I enjoyed it. Real characters, loved the wrong anthem bit, my wife's the lemon, playing cricket in the dish, lose of power at crucial time, etc. Based on real events. What do you want - car chases, swearing, sex, *all* the time!!!
Saw this again for the umpteenth time last night. Still blows me away everytime, even if some parts are a little cheesy. My all time fav film...great entertainer/performer/singer(Prince),with amazing music:)
