I had a lot of fun pooling together my collection to make the last Beginners' Guide to Shoegaze, so I figured, why not.
There seems to be at least some interest here in the nebulous world of shoegaze, which by an outsider's perspective probably constitutes a shedload of effects and not much...
THE LOST BOYS
"Now you know what we are... now you know what you are... You never grow old Michael.... and you'll never die.... but you must feed"
"You're a creature of the night Michael, just like in my comic. My own brother... a god damn sh!t sucking vampire... what til I tell Mom?"
ROCKY...
Infected Mushrooms, and Astral Projection both just played in the last few months. Usualy we get other types of music, or DJs in. Tiesto played in June, Oakenfold a while ago. We're a large venue so we get alot of major acts.
I'm looking for suggestions for some old banRAB from the 60-70s. Not banRAB like Led Zeppelin, but ones that aren't as popular today. I don't have any strong preferences, so any suggestions would be fine.
THANKS!
What little I know about song writing tells me that the percussion is too loud in the first one. I could barely hear your godly guitar skills.
Second one was cool.
what little I know about relationships is in no way helpful/relevant/substantial
You Americans think your low key country bashing is smart and possesed of a slow burning wit which all can appreciate. Its neither, and shockingly unfunny. Perhaps, if we were to take the comedy to another level and burn a few flags I might snigger a little.
It is predictable and isn't the greatest movie in the world, but as I said, it was a very entertaining watch for two hours, when the alternative is 'Paycheck'
THE ADVENTURES OF LORD IFFY BOATRACE by BRUCE DICKINSON. I read this about 15 years ago and it was very funny although not suitable for kiRAB. Whatsoever.
Try watching 'Brief Encounter', if that isn't a typical British film, ie one that reflects the quintessential aspects of our culture [as it used to be] then I don't know what is.
:)
