Try it in a different player. Some dvd's don't work correctly in all players. I have a couple of discs that will not work correctly on the menu screens on my old dvd recorder, but work fine on other dvd players.

Scratched DVRAB aren't to do with the type of renting, because they're in a case anyway, it's to do with people not caring for the DVD, i.e. leaving it out etc... I guess with the amount of people that rent one DVD from a place like this and the fact that you don't physically hand it in, people...

Between Hostel, Wolf Creek and The Hill Have Eyes, the 3 recent violent gore movies, Hostel is defintaly the strongest. It was alright, not a particularly good movie but compared to those other two it's worth a watch.
