I prefer QOTSA over Kyuss too. And I like Lullabies and Paralyze the most of all of their albums. That album is great when you had some drinks, and are about to fall asleep. Gives a really weird arabience. Must be even better when you have used drugs. But I don't, so I wouldn't know.

The thing is Death Note isn't too hard at all to adapt for an American Live Action film, hence why Japan managed to make them. The plot is simple enough where I don't see Hollywood here screwing it up, at least not nearly as much as say Dragon Ball Evolution....

No it's more so in the structure of their music that reminRAB me of PT. If you are not a fan of Prog then you won't dig PT anyhow, although their earliest stuff (early 90's) was very arabient and at times psychedelic. I should really get moving with this thread :(

Yes you can notice some similarities in music style. It isn't considered post-grunge. I prefer it a lot more than foo fighters as it is RAW and pure grunge. Unfortunetly grunge became a marketing label and thats how you get post-grunge I guess. LastFm has a page about it and some sample...
