I would choose the x820. Tri-band isn't a problem, at least not in my area. The form factor is thinner and doesn't require flipping open to answer a call. The keypad seems much more natural and easier to use as opposed to the razr, which I have to hold with two hands to dial for fear of bending...

I am pretty sure every Motorola has it. Its beeps about every 5 minutes when you have a missed call. Also any newer blackberry has a little light on the front that flashes, and when you have a missed call it turns red.
