I am borrowing the DVD from a friend, and i will have to watch it alone on the first viewing as i know i will cry. I read the book - and i cried then too. At least when i next watch it with my hubby, i will know what to expect, and be a little more prepared.

Saw it for the first time late,Friday night. Thought it was at times gripping,liked the retro 70's edge,the host of B movie actors and dialogue. But it was just violence for the sake of it with not much storyline.

Seen Jarhead in usa it did not impress me, however the american audience in the cinema were loving it.

Quite agreed! Zombie Flesh-Eaters would just NOT work with subtitles (although, "eeeeeaaarrrghsplatsquish" is the same in Italian and English as far as I'm aware). These flicks are all about the atmosphere. Having to read and watch dispells that.
