Yeah, those are some cool choices! My faves from your list: Guns n Roses, Smashing Pumpkins, Cream, the Clash, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Sonic Youth, Bad Brains weren't bad.
Motorhead - Overkill (1979)
I feel like I've pissed away 23 years of my life not listening to this album. It's a weird feeling.
This album is proto-thrash, face-meltingly fast and loud for it's time blah blah blah; but it has this old 50's rock n' roll vibe which makes sense, Lemmy is a...
Well, you should have said "slipknot fans" and not just "slipknot", lol. I like Slipknot, but I'm not anything that you listed. (or at least I hope I'm not)
Kayo Dot - I have Choirs Of The Eye, it's pretty cool but I don't prefer it to motW.
Paradise Lost - Only have In Requiem, it's alright but I don't like them enough to look into them any further.
Opeth - Again, only the one album - Damnation. I'm not a big fan of Death vocals so I'm kinda closed...

I have to admit the British do have dreadful food. You can't describe how spotted d!ck tastes like, and although it's a pretty bland pudding it is nice with some custard! Yum!
^ Not really anything there that I listen to a lot, but that's not to say any of it's bad at all. Kate Bush, Bauhaus and My Morning Jacket are particularly cool.
Baaba Maal - Loodo
Isley Brothers - That Lady (Parts 1&2)
