sry ... read that thread but .... i have no clue if theres a away around this but .... i got this phone from a pile of phones in a lost and found and it has a lock code on it when i try to do certain things(erase a contact for instance). i'm wondering if theres a way to reset this so i can flash...

You may need to set-up a data connection with the phone; i.e. "tether" with the phone as a modem device. Someone here with more experience with tethering may be able to advise you further......
