    Anime n00b, what should I know?

    It's fangirl-speak, of course. We have our own language, didn't you know? Another recommendation movie/OVA-wise would be 5 Centimeters Per Second. It's sort of a love story but more of a story about growing up and growing apart than anything else. And it's absolutely gorgeous visually.

    I'm a huge Tom Waits fan, my favorite albums being Blue Valentine, Rain Dogs and Bone Machine. I've only heard like, two others though soo.. I've never really liked Bowie, but I plan to listen to Low.

    Simpsons Movie

    This movie is around ten years overdue! For the first 8 seasons it was good but it's just spiralled since and so I have low expectations for the movie. Now the writers are bored, the actors are bored. They have to resort to cameos just to get people watching. It should have ended a long time ago...
