    2D Animation Still Going Strong On Television.

    Precisely. That CGI Father Of The Pride show (I think that was the title) that aired on NBC a few years back was doomed to failure, because CG animation of any appreciable quality is HUGELY EXPENSIVE. If it were as cheap as hand-drawn cartoons, it would have taken over TV by now.

    I remember getting "Panda and the Magic Serpent" on one of these DVDs, an anime film from 1958 animated by Toei. The print was scratchy and was missing shots here and there, but the only way to see this film in the US.

    Coolest Toon Car

    Hands down my favorite is the Mach V, it has always been my favorite cartoon car since I was a kid. It looks like it should be a real car. Man I long for a new Speed Racer cartoon (a good one, not the crap they had on Nicktoons). After that comes the Batmobile, and Inspector Gadgets gadget mobile.
