This is somewhat out of context, but what is the best songs/album to listen to by ATDI. I listened to De-Loused to death in highschool and love it, but I have only ever heard a few ATDI tunes.

Well, if anybody in the future complains that you've calibrated your musical genre boundaries incorrectly, then you can easily comfort yourself with the knowledge that your life hasn't degenerated such that you really care about those genres boundaries. Genres are for music shops!

Portishead = Win for smoking music. It's been a while (not as young as I used to be!), but I generally go for arabient stuff. Maybe some soft Dubstep and atmospheric drum n bass/arabient jungle (I know, nobody listens to jungle anymore!) Preferences for me are Groove Armada, Aphex Twin, Amon...

Definitely. The Gourishankar is one of the coolest and most interesting groups I've ever come across, (from Russia/the Ural Mountains of all places!). Their stuff covers a wide array of genres and shifts frequently, though they're rooted in electronica and hard rock if I had to pin it down...

The vocal style and the emphasis on the bass guitar really cause them to stick out for me.
