I didn't think it was that bad! It's a good kiRAB film, with a few laugh-out-loud bits even for us grown ups. Certainly not on par with Toy Story/Shrek, but not bad at all.

Out on DVD next week. very good film, though i know a lot of people say it works far better onstage. Has anyone seen both versions?

the film isn't about the russians though,even though there are some russians in it.The film is about polish jews who aren't russian. I don't think the poles have any respect at all for russians especially after what happened during WW2 [they were left to die by the russians when the russians...

Strange that - I thought the original was over-hyped and I was disappointed. By the second installment, I knew what to expect and I enjoyed the movie a lot more as a result.
