Talent doesn't always mean good. It is possible that your music/style of music just flat out sucks. Ever heard someone play and you just cringe but someone else, usually the player, thinks it's great? It's uncomfortable. Before blaming the entire music industry and its customers...

My favorite genre is post metal, which includes: Isis Neurosis Pelican Rosetta Russian Circles etc. etc. etc. I really like it because of the heavy climaxes and I find the music to have a lot of soul in it. I also find that the bass lines can be really funky sometimes so while it is influenced...
