I agree, i really don't get what all the fuss is about, i often wonder if we are watching the same movie, it was real predictable and not in the slightest bit scary, what do people actually find soo amazing abot this film.
Some of Alice in wonderland was filmed at Antony house which is a stately home near here in Torpoint,Cornwall just over the border from Devon. Went there recently and the garden is all themed to it still and fun to visit.
You make a great point, but surely Avatar's limitation is the silicon used to process the instructions fed into it not one man's boundless imagination, which in my opinion is not that unique. Someone will come along and better it no doubt. All they have to do is wait for the technology or better...
Just watching The Day After Tomorrow and it occurs to me that with enough special effects, and enough spectacle, any film of the genre would be a worldwide smash, wouldn't it? I mean, isn't this sort of film the kind a lot of people would want to see just to see the grandeur on the screen?
I remembered watching this as a kid and went to buy it last year, as well as Murder by Death. Both classic films but i don't find them as watchable as when i was a kid
take all these opinions as a pinch of salt, they debate almost anything but to what end? oh I disapprove of single parents especially gay ones (Dominic Holland), oh no I think they have things hard (Janet Ellis), put yourself in their shoes (Matthew Wright)......... result 3 people who disagree...
I don't remember her getting sucked into the bed after getting attacked on the ceiling. Johnny Depp's character got sucked into the bed and then lots of blood spewing out...
